Meet Dr. Gordon Haire

Occupational and Environmental Physician

Dr Gordon Haire studied medicine in at University College Dublin, where he was awarded a Gold Medal in Medicine. Dr Haire is now based in Melbourne providing occupational and environmental medicine services to a range of clients including government agencies, rail and road transport providers, and employers engaged in large infrastructure, mining and energy projects.

His practice focuses on evidence-based assessment and management of workplace health issues, with particular expertise in fitness for duty evaluations, workplace risk assessment, complex injury management, and the potential health impacts of occupational and environmental exposures.

Education:

Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, within the Royal Australasian College of Physicians

Member of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (Royal College of Physicians of Ireland);

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Bachelor of Obstetrics

Industry focused qualifications:

Certified Medical Review Officer (MRO) through Australian Medical Review Officers Association (AMROA)

Certificate in Traffic Medicine
