Meet Dr. Kris McQuaid

Dr Kris McQuaid is Occupational and Environmental Medicine Registrar with Phoenix Occupational Medicine and a Rural Generalist Senior Medical Officer with advanced skills training in Emergency Medicine.

Dr McQuaid currently advises the Sunshine Coast Health’s Health Safety and Wellbeing department, holds a position as a senior lecturer with Griffith University School of Medicine and Dentistry and until recently was the Medical Superintendent of the Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hospital.

In addition to his medical and fellowship training, he has received a Master of Medicine degree in Pain Management, a Graduate Diploma of Occupational and Environmental Medicine and completed the Associate Fellowship program with the Royal Australian College of Medical Administration. His other areas of interest include health and wellbeing in the health and social services sector, assessment and management of movement disorders, and the management of functional disorders in the workplace..
