Occupational and Environmental Physician

Dr Azhar Khan is an experienced Occupational and Environmental Physician, with over 10 years practice in occupational medicine and has worked across a range of industries to provide acute injury management of injured workers; pre-employment medical assessment (system management, quality review and risk management advice); health surveillance (asbestos, silicosis and noise exposure) and site visits. Dr Khan is skilled in management of chronic pain and associated mental health issues. In addition to his many formal qualifications, Dr Khan is multilingual, speaking English, French, Urdu and Turkish.

Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, within the Royal Australasian College of Physicians

Master of Molecular Biology

Graduate Diploma in Occupational and Environmental Medicine

Certificate in Clinical Occupational Medicine

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery

Industry focused qualifications:

Certified Medical Review Officer (MRO) through Australian Medical Review Officers Association (AMROA)

Trained in AMA 4 and AMA 5

Motor Accident Authority Evaluation of Permanent Impairment
